We provide litigation support and expert witness services in cases involving the investment industry. Our expertise encompasses all securities, including mutual funds, as well as options and commodities futures.

We have been retained by both plaintiffs and defendants and have testified in the courts of Nova Scotia, Quebec, Ontario, and British Columbia, as well as at Investment Dealers Association arbitration hearings.

We have also been retained in connection with regulatory proceedings including IDA, IIROC, and the MFDA and have testified at an Alberta Stock Exchange hearing in a matter relating to market manipulation.

Michael has been involved in the investment business since 1963.

Up until 1995 he was employed by one of Canada's largest investment dealers in a variety of roles including Director of Compliance, Designated Registered Options Principal, and Designated Registered Futures Principal.

Since 1995, Michael has been an independent consultant specialising in litigation support and expert witness services.

While the vast majority of the cases he has worked-on have settled, he has testified a number of times.

Assignments have included two class actions against investment dealers.
